Any parishioner who is ill, anticipating surgery, or in the hospital or a nursing home, may request the Sacrament of Anointing of the sick from a priest. Please be sure to advise St. Mary’s Medical Center or nursing home admissions office of your status as a Catholic.

Persons should not delay the celebration of this sacrament until they are gravely ill. Rather, those whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age should be anointed.

In times of unexpected serious illness or hospitalization, contact the emergency line (above) and a priest will come to your home or hospital room. If a parishioner is in the hospital, please contact the chaplain at the hospital first, thank you.
